EO Bhopal had a great opportunity to interact with one of our own Rolf Schromgens - Co-founder and former CEO, Trivago who has been an EO member for past 10 years. He talked about his journey as an Entrepreneur and how his forum and EO helped him 360, personal, family and business.
He discussed about his humble background and how he got an early taste of entrepreneurship while helping with his parents in their restaurant business as a kid.
Like most start-up Trivago was also conceptualized by him and his two college friends in a garage. He always believed in his unique leadership style with no hierarchy and organisational chart as he feels that’s a manifestation of power. He also touched upon frugality and profitability which are an important aspect for tech start up, which he feels is missing these days.
